"Our campaign was a glowing success. I can honestly say that we are better off as a church for going through this campaign."
"My heart is still overflowing with gratitude to God. Even our regular offerings have increased since we began the campaign. Thank you for doing this work in such a Christ-like way."
TLC Ministries is looking for a few very select persons who are willing to accept the challenge of their lives so they can make a significant positive impact upon local churches by leading their capital fund campaigns. These campaigns are normally to help fund building, remodeling, and debt retirement projects.
The TLC Consultant will possess initiated leadership, exceptional interpersonal skills, organizational strength, unquestioned integrity, and significant ministry experience. The overall perception of the Consultant must be a positive one. Prior fund raising experience is not necessary, and any applicant with such prior experience must be willing to be retrained according to the TLC approach.
The Consultant must be a team player, teachable, adaptable, willing to travel extensively, relate well with people individually and in groups, an effective public speaker, able to set and stick to an agenda, willing to teach Stewardship truths, and evidence a strong and mature Christian commitment.
This position requires leading by example as well as by precept. Therefore, the Consultant must have both a good understanding of Christian Stewardship, as well as demonstrate a strong commitment to these truths. There must also be a conviction that Stewardship, regular giving, and sacrificial giving are integral aspects of the Christian experience.
The TLC Consultant will consider this more as a ministry assignment than as a business venture.
If you feel you qualify for this position, please send your resume, your picture, and a statement of your purpose in ministry to TLC's President, Rev. Robert S. Hallett, as noted below.
