TLC's President - Dr. Robert S. Hallett

The Rev. Dr. Robert S. Hallett (D.Min.), founder and president of TLC Ministries, has been an experienced Stewardship Consultant since 1985. His formal training at Kingswood University (Sussex, New Brunswick), Indiana Wesleyan University (Marion, Indiana), Anderson School of Theology (Anderson, Indiana), Asbury Theological Seminary (Wilmore, Kentucky), Trinity International University (Deerfield, Illinois), and Liberty University (Lynchburg, Virginia), combined with several years of pastoral experience, have given him a tender heart that helps him keep as predominant the ministry aspect of fund raising and stewardship teaching.

He has also received the designation of Advanced Certified Stewardship Executive (A.C.S.E.) in 2001 from the former Christian Stewardship Association (now a part of the Christian Leadership Alliance) for his role in teaching the principles of stewardship to stewardship teachers.

In 1985, Dr. Hallett transitioned from a pastoral ministry to a church consulting ministry, leading capital campaigns in churches while working as a Senior Consultant with a Texas company. He founded TLC Ministries in 1990. Since then, Dr. Hallett and TLC’s team of Stewardship Consultants have led capital campaigns and visioning events in over 300 churches, and have raised over $300 million to help fund and build God’s Kingdom both on earth and in heaven.

He has also written many articles and Bible Studies on stewardship, as well as published three books – “A Pastor’s Guide to Developing Disciples, Givers, & Stewards,” “Discipleship in 40 Nutshells” – a daily devotional for disciples, and “Discipleship in 40 Nutshells – Leaders Guide” for pastors and Bible Study leaders.

Dr. Hallett’s ministry has extended to churches of many theological traditions and in a wide variety of cultural settings. His extensive background in a multitude of ministry formats, along with his wide array of experiences of guiding church leaders and their congregations to a renewed and empowering ministry, have uniquely qualified him to lead other churches in the deeper development of their disciples.
